This notebook analyzes RNA binding protein profiling in the UACC62 cell line, which compares normal melanocytes and metastatic melanoma cells with a p53 mutation.The data used for this analysis was gathered from GEO Dataset GSE60664. Gene Ontology (GO) Enrichment Analysis indicates down-regulation of extracellular matrix organization/assembly, phospholipid transport activity and endoplasmic reticulum lumen in addition to upregulation of RNA Polymerase II activity, while Pathway Enrichment Analysis seems to show up-regulation of pathways corresponding to heart development in mice and human. Additionally, Kinase Enrichment Analysis suggests downregulation in platelet driven growth factors. Further analysis and visualization can be seen with Principal Component Analysis, Transcription factor and Kinase Enrichment Analysis, the Clustergrammer interactive heatmap, as well as the L1000 small molecule query and firework display.
