This notebook analyzes gene expression regulation of TEAD target genes including SOX9, SERPINE, EHPA2 and several Hippo Pathway genes. The data used for this analysis was gathered from GEO Dataset GSE60664. After knockdown of TEAD, Gene Ontology Enrichment Analysis with the BioJupies Jupyter Notebook Generator suggests down-regulation in genes associated with embryonic organ development such as liver, lung, and brain, and Pathway Enrichment Analysis shows up-regulation in genes associated with monoamine GPCR-complexes and ligand binding. Transcription Factor Enrichment Analysis with ARCHS4 also indicates down-regulation in MKX, a homeobox protein thought to be involved in cell adhesion and tendon development. Further analysis and visualization can be seen with Principal Component Analysis and the Clustergrammer tool.
