norepinephrine transport Gene Set

Dataset GO Biological Process Annotations
Category structural or functional annotations
Type biological process
Description The directed movement of norepinephrine into, out of or within a cell, or between cells, by means of some agent such as a transporter or pore. Norepinephrine (3,4-dihydroxyphenyl-2-aminoethanol) is a hormone secreted by the adrenal medulla and a neurotransmitter in the sympathetic peripheral nervous system and in some tracts of the CNS. It is also the biosynthetic precursor of epinephrine. (Gene Ontology, GO_0015874)
