norepinephrine transmembrane transporter activity Gene Set

Dataset GO Molecular Function Annotations
Category structural or functional annotations
Type molecular function
Description Catalysis of the transfer of norepinephrine from one side of the membrane to the other. Norepinephrine (3,4-dihydroxyphenyl-2-aminoethanol) is a hormone secreted by the adrenal medulla and a neurotransmitter in the sympathetic peripheral nervous system and in some tracts of the CNS. It is also the biosynthetic precursor of epinephrine. (Gene Ontology, GO_0005333)
